Tips, tricks, and downloads for getting things done.

Why this site stands out:
For all of you who know of lifehacker, you saw this coming. We all know that life is hard, there's nothing easy about it but lifehacker gives you an edge to make life easier. Lifehacker is not a site built around paradigm shifting material that changes your life forever. It's more of a conglomeration of small epiphanies aimed at making it easy to get things done. The site is filled with guides, tips, DIY projects, software reviews, How-to videos and the best browser extensions. Whether it's your digital or analog life you'd like to get tips about the best place to look would be lifehacker.?

My Favorite Part:
I like most of the articles but my favorite would have to be the top 10 lists. Here's the best top ten lists in 2011 which contains lists for the top ten gaming hacks, top ten solutions to real life's most annoying problems and top ten awesome Android features that the iPhone doesn't have among many others. My other favorite part are the repurposing tricks. Taking something that normally you'd throw out or completely disregard and turning it into something completely useful is an awesome ability. My final point of adoration is that for the most part, lifehacker seems impartial. I'm not saying that they never take sides but they have articles about Mac, Windows, Linux, iPhone, Windows Phone and Android. When I first found out about lifehacker all I saw were posts about iPhone and hackintosh but then I started finding articles about how Android has some features that iPhone lacks. There's also articles for Chrome and? Firefox so you can be sure you will be able to find a topic that's relevant to you.

Room For Improvement:
While lifehacker offers a plethora of tech related ways to get stuff done, they're a little lacking on the analog side of things. There aren't anywhere near as many articles about leadership as there is about technology. I'm not saying there should be a ton of articles about self-improvement and leadership but a few would be nice. How about a top ten things you can do after you unplug article? Or repurposing a Mac Book Pro into a paperweight, granted that wouldn't be a very long article (Calm down Apple-heads, I jest).
