I have the great pleasure of introducing two new bloggers to our Starting Into Practice family!
First, we have Dr. Nicole Ingrandofrom Orlando, Florida.? Dr. Ingrando is a 2009 graduate of Palmer Florida and has since built her practice, North Orlando Spine Center in Lakewood, Florida,?from the ground up.? The experiences she has had starting and growing a thriving chiropractic practice promise to deliver valuable lessons and insights for our readers.
I've had the pleasure of visiting Dr. Ingrando's practice both in the early days and most recently last month after her move to a larger facility.? I've met her husband, Vinnie, a former firefighter who now works full-time managing the Center's operations.? Dr. Ingrando will also be doing our Starting Into Practice workshops at the chiropractic campuses around the country, and she looks forward to sharing her experience with students first hand.
Our second new blogger is new to the NCMIC staff.? Lori Holt, RN, comes to NCMIC from a cardiac specialty?practice and has a wealth of experience from her 20 plus years in healthcare.? Look for Lori to share her perspectives on risk management and clinical protocols.? Lori will be active with the chiropractic profession, attending conventions and homecomings and providing continuing education to doctors across the country.
As you may know, NCMIC is headquartered in Des Moines, Iowa, but Lori is originally from Alabama.? While she fits right in here at NCMIC, you will be able to recognize her when you meet her on your campus or at your state association meeting by her accent!? But she thinks we Iowans talk funny...she does not believe "OIL" should be two syllables.
