LAND O?LAKES ? Fittingly, John Castelamare is playing the role of Lee Marvin.
Castelamare, like the late actor known for his tough-guy roles, is a hard-nosed coach, expecting the best out his players. All 12 of them.
?We?ve got ?The Dirty Dozen? here,? the long-time Pasco County coach said of his Academy of the Lakes football team. ?We?ve got 12 guys and we need them all.?
The Wildcats? 7-on-7 football team, which made the second round of the playoffs last season (7-1), is back, and despite having the fewest number of players rostered in recent seasons, is poised for a good run. That?s because Academy returns seven seniors ? the most ever ? including running back and leading scorer Ahkill McGill, plus the team?s big and athletic signal caller: junior Max Stepanets.
Yet, with only 12 players, it means most will have to be two-way stars both offensively and defensively, especially since Castelamare has just five reserves, three of them linemen.
?We think with what we put on the field, we can go pretty good,? said Castelamare, who coached both Ridgewood?s and Wesley Chapel?s football programs. ?But if one of them gets hurt, and with a lot of them playing both ways, as it is, then its going to get real tough.?
Most coaches, at the beginning of the season, will stress their team needs to stay injury free, but none more so than Academy since Castelamare has only 50-60 boys enrolled at the school, not too mention many of his 12 play other sports, as well.
?I?m a little worried about the future (graduating seven seniors this season),? Castelamare added. ?Same as I would at any other school that lost such a big senior class and any other coach probably would, too, going through the same thing.?
However, the future does look bright for athletics at Academy, with the private school recently purchasing 47 acres from the McManus family. While the school has not announced its official plans for the land, many have speculated it could be athletic fields, from a football stadium to a playing field for the 2A state softball semifinalsts.
But as the Wildcats prepare for their season opener hosting Winter Park Geneva, Castelamare is focusing on keeping his unit tough, just as Marvin would have done in the 1967 classic, despite many of the young players never seeing the movie.
?I?ve told them about ?The Dirty Dozen? was a tough unit, one unit of tough guys that stayed together and worked hard together,? Castelamare said, adding, with a shrug, whether or not he would show the movie to his players.
Though if the Wildcats are to stay tough, and together, Castelamare, like Marvin, is the just the man to lead them.
?We expect to do very well as long as no one gets hurt and can work together and work well together,? Castelamare said. ?They have to take it by each game, one at a time, but we expect a lot out of these guys with just 12 of them. ? But what?s on that field can be pretty good, just like the original ?Dirty Dozen.??

After the closures of Lavabit and Silent Circle, we had wondered which online service would be next to wind down after Edward Snowden's PRISM revelations. Turns out that we're losing Groklaw, the technology and law blog, which is stopping operations from today. In an impassioned sign-off, founder Pamela Jones has said that she cannot keep running the site knowing the extent to which her private communications are subject to public scrutiny. She has also advised others to spend less time on the internet and use Kolab, a Swiss email service, which is apparently safe from the NSA -- at least for now.

A Sussex based care agency is celebrating after being shortlisted in this year?s Business Matters Awards 2013.
Avens Ltd, who has a care home in Crowborough and a care agency providing supported living for adults across the county, has been shortlisted for the prestigious Education and Training award.
The Business Excellence Awards which takes place this year on September 13th at the Copthorne Hotel, in Effingham celebrates the best businesses from across East and West Sussex. To be shortlisted for the Education and Training award entrants had to demonstrate how staff are trained, what methods are employed to do so and how objectives are met.
The shortlisted entry impressed judges by explaining how the company provides in house training and employment for over 80 members of staff. Taking a huge financial risk, the company chose to set up its own in-house training system which has proven to be a great success. Staff receive training regularly from one of three dedicated trainers who help staff to reach the required level of attainment.
Clair Andrews, head of Education and Training within the company said: ?We are thrilled to have made the shortlist for The Business Matters Awards and to be chosen from among so many other successful businesses is a real honour. As far as we are aware we were one of the first care organisations of this size to bring training in-house to the level that we are able to offer it and we consider this to be a huge advantage over our competitors. ?Although this is recognition for the department?s efforts, we couldn?t achieve what we do without the great team of people we have around us.?
The company?s head office is based within the residential care home in Crowborough, East Sussex from where the company?s care agency which has branches across the county, is also managed. Avens currently provides care and support for 98 individuals across Sussex and in their second branch based in Northamptonshire. ENDS

LONDON (Reuters) - The British government, accused of abusing media freedom, said on Tuesday police were right to detain a journalist's partner if they thought lives might be at risk from data he was carrying from fugitive U.S. intelligence contractor Edward Snowden.
Facing legal and diplomatic complaints after police held Guardian writer Glenn Greenwald's Brazilian partner for nine hours on Sunday - and accused by the newspaper of forcing it to trash computers holding copies of Snowden's data - the interior minister said officers were entitled to take security measures.
Home Secretary Theresa May said police held David Miranda at a London airport under anti-terrorism powers, which allow for action to prevent stolen data aid terrorists. Material from Snowden, published by the Guardian, has revealed extensive U.S. and British surveillance of global communications networks.
"It's absolutely right that if the police believe that somebody is in possession of highly sensitive, stolen information, that could help terrorists, that could risk lives, lead to a potential loss of life, the police are able to act and that's what the law enables them to do," May told the BBC.
She added, however, that an independent reviewer was looking into the police conduct.
As interior minister, May said she was briefed in advance that Miranda might be stopped but she stressed that she did not decide whom the police detained. The United States - which has charged Snowden, now in Russia, with spying - said Britain gave it a "heads up" but it did not ask for Miranda to be questioned.
A British lawyer who launched an action on the Brazilian's behalf to question the legal basis of his detention said police seized a laptop computer, a telephone, memory sticks, a computer hard drive and a games console from him. He was released without charge after reaching a time limit on such detentions.
Miranda had been in transit at Heathrow, carrying material from Snowden that was being passed from Berlin-based American documentary film-maker Laura Poitras to Greenwald, an American writer for Britain's Guardian who lives in Rio de Janeiro.
"These items contain sensitive, confidential journalistic material and should not have been seized," Miranda's London lawyers wrote in a letter to May and the police.
The Brazilian government has complained to Britain. The action against Miranda was also denounced by British opposition politicians, human rights lawyers and press freedom watchdogs.
The leaks by Snowden, a former U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) contractor who has found temporary asylum in Russia, gave details of NSA and British surveillance of public telephone and Internet traffic. Washington and London say their agencies act within their laws and the leaks threaten their security.
"YOU'VE HAD YOUR FUN"
On Tuesday, Guardian editor Alan Rusbridger said he received a call from a British official a month ago who told him: "You've had your fun. Now we want the stuff back." The paper had been threatened with legal action if it did not comply.
Later, two "security experts" from the secretive Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) visited the paper's London head office and watched as computer hard drives containing copies of Snowden material were reduced to mangled metal.
Asked by the BBC who he thought was behind those events, Rusbridger said he had "got the sense there was an active conversation" involving government departments, intelligence agencies and the prime minister's Downing Street office.
Downing Street and GCHQ declined to comment.
A White House spokesman said he could not comment on the destruction of some of the Guardian's Snowden material. But he said he could not see U.S. authorities destroying an American media company's hard drives to protect national security.
"That's very difficult to imagine a scenario in which that would be appropriate," spokesman John Earnest told reporters.
Dunja Mijatovic, media freedoms chief at the 57-nation Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe, said she had written to Britain to express concerns about the police action against Miranda at the airport: "The detention can be interpreted as putting pressure on Glenn Greenwald after his recent reporting on security issues in the Guardian," she wrote.
Britain also came under attack from press freedom group Index on Censorship, which denounced the forced destruction of computers revealed by Rusbridger in his Tuesday column.
"It is clear that the Snowden and NSA story is strongly in the public interest," the group said. "It seems that the UK government is using, and quite literally misusing, laws to intimidate journalists and silence its critics."
Rusbridger said the destruction of the computer material was "pointless" as there were copies of what was lost, and it would not stop the Guardian from pursuing Snowden stories: "We will continue to do patient, painstaking reporting on the Snowden documents," he said. "We just won't do it in London."
A British source with knowledge of the security services said GCHQ had no powers to seize material from the Guardian, but could have accused the paper of possessing stolen materials and demanded they be destroyed.

Getting organized in your home can be less expensive and easier than you think. There are items all around your home that can help you get the clutter in order. Here are just a few tips to get you off to a good start:
A big problem is spices, they get lost in the cabinet, take up tons of room and are always hard to see. If this is a problem in your home use a?mop holder to store spices on the inside of a cabinet door.
Too many craft supplies and a place to put them is a typical problem. Arrange crayons, colored pencils and more in an over-the-door shoe organizer. You have all your supplies organized and easy to see in no time.
Use the shoe organizer for anything. It can also be great for cleaning supplies.
If you need decorations for your playroom walls and you have too many board games this is a great solution. Take the glass out of frames and frame the board games and hang on the walls. Attach the game pieces in little baggies to the frame.
What about all that jewelry? If you could actually see it you may even wear it more. Hang a peg board on the wall in your closet and hang your necklaces from it.
Need a place to put your earrings? How about an ice cube tray?
These are just a few nifty ideas. What are your best ideas to keep your home organized?

You?ve made the decision to give Website marketing a go. The prospect can be pretty exciting. The only problem is that you are overwhelmed by the amount of information out there. Do not despair, below you?ll find some excellent advice to help get you started. These are just some of the ways you can launch an website marketing strategy that will have you raking in the dough.
It is important for you to have a mailing list. Allow sign-ups on your site or require emails for purchases. This data can be used later to market your business, or for quality control purposes.
Split your website into sections, and have a map from which people can choose the products they?d like to see. Remember, adding variety to your page is beneficial but you still want to keep your page structured.
Be sure to include several special choices on your check out pages for orders. If your customer places an order, offer them an additional product at reduced cost to maximize the sale and increase profits. You can really thin out your extra merchandise and boost your sales by doing this while simultaneously promoting goodwill from your customer who will feel he or she is getting a really great deal.
A great way to get customer feedback is to allow them to put ratings and reviews on your website. Having this sort of feedback on your page can not only give you ideas on how to improve your product or service, but also gives customers an overview of what they can expect from the product.
Most phone companies allow you to use the same dedicated business number across a range of different mobile devices. Therefore, it is wise to get a dedicated number.
Putting out an e-zine or e-mail newsletter can be a very effective marketing tactic. The best results will come from an e-zine that builds readers? trust and interest in you and your business. Add family pictures of you to inject personality. Allow readers glimpses into the heart of your company by providing snippets of information about you and your employees. Your article?s subject line is important. Titles that promise to solve a specific problem are always popular reads.
Internet promotion has some characteristics common to most other markets, but also has big differences. As an example, title tags may stop being a focus of search engines. If things get changed up, you should be willing to change your approach as well, like putting an effort into marketing via videos.
You should feel better after reading those tips. That was a lot of information to process, but at least now you know what to do and where to begin with your Internet promotion. This list is always here for reference.

Coach Brent Sutter likes the idea of facing real competition at the Canadian junior hockey team?s summer camp.
He?ll get that this year as players vying for spots on Canada?s world junior championship team skate together for two days at the Montreal Canadiens practice rink and then head to Lake Placid, N.Y. for exhibition games against Finland, Sweden and the United States.
Sutter says that easily beats holding intra-squad match-ups.
?Change is good,? Sutter said Saturday as the players arrived at the team hotel from across the country. ?Talking to some players about it, they?re excited.
?It?s different from going through an evaluation, with red-white games. Now you?re playing Sweden, Finland and the Americans and they?re bringing their best. We?ll get a better sense of where we?re at. And, as a coaching staff, it?s new for us too.?
The camp, which opens with practices Sunday and Monday in Brossard, Que., is the first step in selecting the team that will play at the world junior championship Dec. 26 to Jan. 5 in Malmo, Sweden.
The players returning from the team that finished fourth in Ufa, Russia last year ? forwards Nathan MacKinnon and Jonathan Drouin and defencemen Morgan Rielly and Griffin Reinhart ? will skate the first two days but will not travel to Lake Placid.
Those four have already shown what they can do, and leaving them behind will give more ice time to those the coaches know less about.
?We?re taking 32 guys and it?s a lot of bodies,? said Sutter. ?You?ve got to get everybody in at least one game.
?It gives us a better feel for everybody else.?
Jake Paterson was on last year?s team as the third goalie, but didn?t play. He will go to Lake Placid.
Sutter also likes that there are fewer players than the usual 45 or so at summer camp, so he has only what he called ?the cream of the crop? to evaluate.
The group includes Erie Otters star Connor McDavid, who has a good shot at becoming a rare 16-year-old to make the squad. The gifted winger is already the favourite to go first overall in the 2015 NHL draft.
Sutter said he?s watched McDavid on video, and is looking forward to seeing what he can do against the world?s top juniors. He said he wouldn?t be shocked if he ends up on the roster when the team is picked in December.
?He?s obviously an elite player,? he sad. ?A top player on his club team.
?He dominated at the under-18s, so we?re actually thrilled that he?s part of this and he?s certainly going to get an opportunity to show us what he can do. When you have special players, there are special circumstances and he?s certainly in one of those situations.
?We?ll see how it all unfolds. There?s no guarantee of anything come Christmas time, but the fact is, he has a opportunity here to compete against the best players and play with the best players and we?ll see how he manages that.?
Sutter has had special talent on his teams before. Sidney Crosby played as a 17-year-old at the 2005 world juniors.
Another ?underage? player in camp is 17-year-old Kootenay Ice forward Sam Reinhart, who is expected to go high in the 2014 draft.
Before becoming an NHL head coach, Sutter coached the national junior squad for three years, winning gold in 2005 and 2006 and leading Canada to a 7-0-1 record in an eight-game Super-series against Russia in 2007. His record in those events was 19-0-1.
He?s aware that some of the players in camp won?t be available in December because they?ll be playing for NHL clubs.
MacKinnon and Drouin, linemates on the Memorial Cup champion Halifax Mooseheads, were top draft picks, with MacKinnon going first overall to Colorado and Drouin fourth overall to Tampa Bay.
Both have a good shot of staying in the NHL.
Drouin said the camp may be the last time he and MacKinnon will skate together.
?Me and Nate have played together so long,? he said. ?I think we?ll enjoy it.
?I don?t know what I?m going to be doing next year, playing in the NHL or in junior, but I don?t choose that. It?s up to Tampa. But it?s not a bad thing to come back and play in Sweden for Team Canada.?
Sutter said he has about a dozen players in camp with a chance to at least start the 2013-14 campaign with NHL clubs. But they still need to meet their teammates and learn the playing system in case they end up going to Malmo.
?You?ve got to accept that there?s a chance you won?t have them for Christmas, but you never know,? said Sutter. ?So when they leave here they need to know what this is.
?They have to have that in the back of their heads so that if they come back, it?s not an unknown to them.?
The camp invitees include Winnipeg Jets prospects goalie Eric Comrie, defenceman Josh Morrissey and forward Nicolas Petan. The Toronto Maple Leafs have four ? blue-liners Rielly and Matthew Finn and forwards Frederic Gauthier and Ryan Rupert.
?I played in (the under 18s) in Sochi in April and I wanted to get invited to this,? said Gauthier. ?It?s a big tournament and you always hope to be there one day and to live that moment. I want to give my best.?
The Calgary Flames have three forwards in camp, Mark Jankowski, Sean Monahan and Emile Poirier, while the Montreal Canadiens have goalie Zachary Fucale and forward Charles Hudon. The Vancouver Canucks have forwards Hunter Shinkaruk and Brendan Gaunce.
The Edmonton Oilers have defenceman Darnell Nurse and forward Curtis Lazar.

Clean Energy Fuels (CLNE) is focused on the natural gas industry in the USA. The company is building a series of LNG stations in the country to take advantage of the price difference between LNG and gasoline. The company has built around 50% of the planned stations and is currently making losses as its infrastructure is not being fully utilized. Major fleet owners and companies are still watching the LNG market before making a decision on switching their fleets to the alternate fuel. Westport Innovations (WPRT) is currently testing out new LNG engines with major truck makers such as Ford (F), which would increase efficiency and range. Besides constructing LNG stations, Clean Energy Fuels also has a couple of LNG bottling plants and runs CNG stations. Clean Energy Fuel needs to survive till the "tipping point" is reached in LNG vehicle adoption. Till then CLNE has to continue its capex program, which allows the major continental routes in USA to be supplied by LNG. The company has got excellent backers in the form of General Electric (GE) and Chesapeake Energy (CHK) which have provided CLNE with infrastructure and money. CLNE and Westport have increased their collaboration in the recent past. Both the companies are joined at the hip as they need one another to succeed.
Westport gives a leg-up to Clean Energy Fuels
1. Joint Marketing - Westport and Clean Energy Fuels recently signed a deal to start the joint marketing of LNG vehicles. This marketing deal will involve Clean Energy Fuels by contributing 750,000 GGEs of CNG to Westport for free, while Westport will contribute $5 million for this venture. These companies will also support each other's sales and marketing efforts as well as industry activities and policy positions.
2. Westport buys 2 Clean Energy subsidiaries - Their collaboration has extended with WPRT buying 2 Clean Energy Fuel subsidiaries. This will help WPRT gain access to CNG conversion for Ford vehicles. Westport already installs power systems for Ford trucks and this will help extend it for CNG conversion as well. Westport is giving $25 million to buy CLNE's subsidiaries.
Westport Innovations Inc. (TSX:WPT) , the global leader in natural gas engines, today announced that it has acquired BAF Technologies, Inc. (BAF) and its subsidiary, ServoTech Engineering, Inc. (ServoTech), subsidiaries of Clean Energy Fuels Corp. for $25 million in Westport stock. Westport and Clean Energy also announced a $5 million joint marketing and sales program.

Is a Clean Energy Fuels and Westport Merger possible?
CLNE and WPRT are starting to increase their collaboration rapidly through joint marketing and cross selling of products. Both the companies are dependent on the success of the other company, which in general would make up the ground for a possible merger. However, both the companies are currently making losses. A merger would also create some confusion in investor minds about whether the combined company is a utility play or a technology play. Both the companies are doing well to support the other through partnerships in different areas such as marketing, sales support etc. I don't think it's a good idea for the companies to merge and I think the company managements also think the same way.
Clean Energy Fuels Advantages
Clean Energy Fuels Risks
Future Outlook for Clean Energy Fuels
Clean Energy's expansion plans should get finished by 2014 and the company should reap the benefits from its capex investments during late 2014 and 2015. WPRT developed LNG engine powered trucks should also see a ramp up in the next couple of years and more fleet customers will adopt LNG fleets once they see the success of the initial adopters. CLNE should start showing profits by 2015. The company is not for the short term speculator looking to make quick profits. It is a long term play on the growth of the natural gas transportation industry for the patient investor.
2013 and 2014 Analyst Estimates
Analysts currently estimate that CLNE will make losses in both 2013 and 2014, even though they expect sales to rise by more than 25 % in 2014 to reach $468 million. The company is going to report its Q213 results on 8th August when more clarity about its current situation should be available.
Stock Performance and Valuation
Clean Energy Fuels has been stuck in $11-16 range over the last year, as investors are waiting for the company's fundamentals to improve. The company is neither cheap nor expensive with a P/S ratio of 3.2x and P/B ratio of 2x and currently does not generate any profits.
CLNE Total Return Price data by YCharts
Summary
Clean Energy Fuels is a bet on the growth of the LNG transportation industry. The company is investing heavily to build out the infrastructure for the industry and is collaborating closely with the main enabler of this industry. Recent trends indicate that the major companies are starting to see the benefit of LNG fuel and are converting their fleet to this fuel. The entry of other players such as Conoco Philips (COP) and Enn Energy is also positive, since it reduces the fuel anxiety of customers. The company will need a couple of years to be profitable but its business model seems to be sound. More and more vehicles are now using NG for fuel as there are substantial cost savings. CNG stations are ubiquitous in countries such as Pakistan and India. In fact, all buses in India's capital run on NG under a court order. NG is cleaner than diesel and it costs less as well. LNG stations will need some more time to become profitable but when they do CLNE will be well positioned to capitalize on this opportunity. However investors will have to be patient with the CLNE stock, as the company is in the investment phase. You can also consider buying Westport Innovations, if you are looking for a strong technology company in the NG industry. The stock has performed better than CLNE over the last 5 years.

NEW YORK (AP) ? Comic Josh Wolf may not want to hear the word "shark" after next week, much less bump into one.
Discovery has given him a unique assignment: host an hour-long talk show for five nights in a row on the menacing beast, a new wrinkle in the network's annual "Shark Week."
"Shark After Dark" will debut Sunday at 11 p.m. EDT.
Wolf, who's a recurring character on Fox's "Raising Hope" and perhaps best known as a regular guest on E! Entertainment's "Chelsea Lately," said he's looking forward to the challenge.
"Not only have I always been fascinated with 'Shark Week,' I've always wanted to do a late-night talk thing," he said. "That's been on the bucket list. This kills two birds with one stone."
So how do you fill an hour each night with chatter about a creature that does all its talking with its teeth?
Wolf will open each night with a shark monologue. He'll talk about the "Shark Week" programs that Discovery aired that night and bring in some shark experts and celebrities. One booked guest is actress Tara Reid, who starred in the Syfy network's "Sharknado" movie earlier this summer. Others are Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban and actor Dominic Monaghan.
There are limits, though.
"You can't do an hour of shark jokes," Wolf said. "Trust me."
So he expects "Shark After Dark" will be more expansive than the title. Craig Ferguson is the show's executive producer, and Wolf said the late-night host's interviewing style is an inspiration. "He lets the conversation go where it goes," he said. "That's what I hope to do, too."
"It's shameful that the shark demographic has been neglected for so long by late-night TV," Ferguson said. "I'm delighted to be making a show that combines comedy, witty chat and ferocious biting predators."
"Shark After Dark" is part of Discovery's effort to promote "Shark Week" as a pop culture event, said Michael Sorensen, the network's senior director of programming. Discovery can only hope for ratings success that mirrors its promotion; its cheeky ad about a giant shark ruining the return of "Snuffy the seal" to the ocean has received more than 5 million streams online.
The idea behind "Shark After Dark" is that "'Shark Week' is a party and people just want to be invited, (so) let's continue the experience into a talk show," Sorensen said.

France plans to hold the line on military spending while reducing 34,000 defense jobs over the next five years, a decision the defense minister said would still allow the country to prepare for the future.
President Francois Hollande's Socialist government laid out its five-year military program at a Cabinet meeting on Friday that would keep annual defense spending at 31.4 billion euros through 2016 ? then rising to 32.5 billion euros by 2019. Key NATO ally France would remain Western Europe's second-biggest spender on defense after Britain.
The plan goes before Parliament this fall. Socialists and their allies control both chambers.
Defense Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian told Europe-1 radio the plan avoids "drastic cuts." It does cut back on planned purchases of Dassault's Rafale fighter jet to about 5 per year through 2019 ? down from 11 previously.
The government is counting on export orders to sustain production. The Rafale, introduced in 2001, has never been exported. But Le Drian was optimistic about its future outside France, including in Qatar and India, which is in exclusive talks for the purchase of 126 Rafale jetfighters.
The minister said the five-year program allows France to "prepare the French army's adaptation to risks of the future and new threats for the coming six years."
However, there were some critics of the cuts in manpower.
"To win the war always means to control territory ? on the ground, in the air and at sea ? and at some point ... numbers count," Gen. Vincent Desportes, former head of the Armed Forces Defense College, said on France-Info radio. "Technology only very partially replaces cuts."
He said he fears a diminished ability to intervene, as France did this year in Mali, leading an African force to chase out Islamist jihadists in the country's north.
"In my opinion, France won't be able to address its international responsibilities and protect French interests", he said.
The government earmarked an average of 17.1 billion euros a year earmarked for equipment spending. For the first time, France plans to take delivery of 12 armed, long endurance drones ? the U.S. system MQ-9 Reaper ? and 14 shorter range tactical drones. Included in the budget is the purchase of 12 Airbus-made refueling planes, with the first two delivered in 2019.
During its intervention in Mali, France relied on U.S. drones and refueling planes.
By 2019, the French air force should also receive 15 A400M military transport planes from Airbus ? the first one entering service this week ? and one Barracuda attack submarine made by the French naval company DCNS.
For its intelligence services, France is looking to an electronics-intelligence satellite system known as CERES to be placed into orbit in 2020, and on two MUSIS satellites (Multinational Space-based Imaging System for Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Observation) from a European program that includes Italy Belgium, Germany, Greece, and Spain. That should be operational in 2017.

Gah that's a sin, I hate it when you have to leave a roleplay like that. I had to leave a roleplay site a couple of days ago, because one of the moderators was harassing me and they refused to do anything about it. But I'm still checking in on the roleplay I was in on that site, it was quite enjoyable!
Hm, I can't say that I can beat an Elf at Hogwarts (though I think that's flippin' amazing.) I like themes that are modern but with a twist - like someone from our world gets hauled into another world, or the other way around. Or something like some mortals are tasked by some god who's gifted them with supernatural powers. I also like demons and angels, they're always fun.

The UFC 166: Velasquez vs. Dos Santos III card is set to take place in Houston, Texas, on October 19, and will take place at the Toyota Center. The event will be headlined by the heavyweight trilogy between Cain Velasquez and Junior dos Santos with a heavyweight co-main event between Daniel Cormier and Roy Nelson. UFC officials have announced several new bouts over the past few days.
Junior dos Santos defeated Velasquez at the inaugural UFC on FOX show in November 2011 via KO in 64 seconds to become the UFC heavyweight champion. However, Velasquez was able to defeat dos Santos via a dominant unanimous decision at UFC 155 in December 2012 to reclaim the UFC championship.
Daniel Cormier and Roy Nelson have been on a collision course over the past couple of months as both have been throwing verbal jabs at one another. Nelson lost a unanimous decision against Stipe Miocic in the final fight on his UFC contract. Nelson could entertain offers from other promotions at that time, but Cormier kept the heat on and Nelson decided to re-sign with the UFC and meet Cormier in October.

Football anti-racism group Kick It Out on Monday launched a new mobile phone tool for fans and players to report racist or homophobic abuse, after a number of high-profile incidents last season.
The mobile phone application will allow fans and players to report abuse directly to Kick It Out, which will follow up the cases with the football authorities and, if necessary, the police.
"Part of the problems that were raised last season were players saying they had complained about an incident and nothing was done about it," said the organisation's chairman Herman Ouseley.
"Some of them never even found out about the outcome of their complaint, especially if it was not found in their favour because we had not been involved.
"Now if players have got a problem they will be able to contact us directly and, if they wish, anonymously, and we will follow through on the complaint.
"Fans will also be able to contact us if for some reason they don't feel the confidence to report something to a steward."
English football has been marred by incidents of racism on and off the pitch over the last two years, with the John Terry and Luis Suarez cases provoking criticism of Kick It Out's response by some players.
Ouseley hopes the new season of action will prompt clubs to take the fight against discrimination more seriously, rather than paying lip service to the battle against racism during the organisation's traditional two-week advertising campaign.
"We felt the old format was stale," he added.
"Clubs need to show they are being much more inclusive and reaching out to fans to show they are embracing everyone, and taking the responsibility for educating everyone - players, supporters and employees.
"If an incident does happen then clubs need to take responsibility and not blame someone else."

DENVER (AP) -- Republican gubernatorial candidate Tom Tancredo wants to debate Democratic Gov. John Hickenlooper over a proposal on the November ballot to increase income taxes by nearly a billion for school funding.
Tancredo said in a statement Monday that he was challenging Hickenlooper to a debate, or serious of debates. The additional tax revenue would be used to fund a new system of financing for public schools.
Tancredo, a former congressman, says he doesn't believe the additional funds will improve the quality of schools in the state.
Hickenlooper has said he will support the tax increase. Spokesman Eric Brown says the tax initiative is too important to be used "for political theater in the governor's race." He says Hickenlooper looks forward to debates when Republicans choose their gubernatorial nominee.

A new review by consumer advocacy magazine Choice has compared the upcoming prices of 10 PS4 games and 13 Xbox One games, including Battlefield 4, Call of Duty: Ghosts, and Destiny, to find a 37% price discrepancy, on average, between here and the United States.
This comes one day after the federal governement?s IT Pricing Enquiry which claimed that game publishers hadn?t even tried to justify their higher prices for digitally downloaded games in this region.
In Choice?s submission to the enquiry, they quoted some findings of the Interactive Games & Entertainment Association:
The Australian video gaming industry generated $1.161 billion in the year to December 2012 with the top 10 titles accounting for 46 per cent of all sales
Choice?s Director of Campaigns and Communications, Matt Levey, goes on to say:
?Our analysis of the available game prices has shown that Australians will pay an average of 33% more for PS4 games and 29% more for Xbox One games. This is after excluding Australia?s 10% GST.?
According to Choice, over 200 products were surveyed and it was ?found that Australians were paying around 50% more for software, computers, iTunes and (of course) games.?
Again, things we already know. Will this latest wave attention lead to lower prices? The short answer is no ? lower sales will, though. Until people vote with their wallets, not much will change.
